Quality Assurance Lab Technician

Description:

Inspect incoming ingredients and packaging material for conformance to product specifications.

Submit ingredient samples from current and new suppliers to approved labs for authenticity and pesticide analysis.

Audit blending operation for conformance to process and packaging specifications.

Audit production for conformance to process and package specifications.

Maintain QA record keeping ,filing system and housekeeping programs in the QA areas.

Perform microbiological plating functions.

Monitor all aspects of production for compliance to HACCP, GMP’s, SQF, and SOP’s.

Verify the calibration and /or calibrate laboratory & operational equipment.
