Job Description
We are seeking an eager entry level Project Manager to lead industrial projects from kickoff through delivery. The ideal candidate will ensure that safety, quality, schedule, and budget targets are consistently met while acting as the central link between engineering, fabrication, vendors, and clients. Responsibilities
- Own the full project lifecycle, including design, procurement, fabrication, delivery, and closeout.
- Manage schedules, budgets, resources, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Ensure alignment of P&IDs, models, and drawings with fabrication execution.
- Coordinate with engineering, shop personnel, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Oversee fabrication progress, QA/QC processes, and issue resolution.
- Manage procurement, long-lead items, and monitor supplier performance.
- Serve as the primary client contact, leading meetings and managing expectations.
- Handle change orders, cost tracking, forecasting, and billing.
- Drive quality standards and process improvements.
Essential Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3–10+ years of experience in industrial, manufacturing, or mechanical projects.
- Experience with skid-based or fabrication-driven projects.
- Proficient knowledge of piping systems, fabrication, and installation.
- Ability to read P&IDs, isometrics, and shop drawings.
- Strong project scheduling and financial management skills.
- Effective leadership, communication, and cross-team coordination abilities.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, production-driven environments.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in project management, industrial environments, and budgeting.
- 2+ years of experience owning projects, particularly those valued at over 5 million.
- Experience in construction management, project coordination, design, engineering, estimation, and mechanical engineering.
- Proficiency in handling change orders and project engineering tasks.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office.
Work Environment
The position is based in a 21-person facility where you will work directly with the CEO. The standard working hours are from 7 AM to 4 PM.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Jacksonville, FL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $36.00 - $41.00/hr.
