Job Title: Staff Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Staff Engineer to collaborate with property owners and lead harmonization meetings. The ideal candidate will be responsible for drafting harmonization plans, coordinating with various departments, and ensuring all project documentation is accurately maintained.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with property owners and lead harmonization meetings every Tuesday and Thursday, bringing printed plans and narratives.
  • Provide meeting minutes after each harmonization meeting, distributing them to the entire team.
  • Draft harmonization plans on Monday and Wednesday in coordination with the Transportation Engineer.
  • Coordinate availability with HML and provide them with HA packages.
  • Meet with the CIP department every Friday to discuss items requested by residents, taking notes, and modifying plans accordingly.
  • Perform CAD drafting of harmonization plans.
  • Write 30-day letters.
  • Obtain signatures on HAs and record them with the court.

Essential Skills

  • Minimum of an undergraduate degree in engineering (Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, or Structural).
  • Understanding of permitting procedures for specific engineering disciplines.
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements and administrative codes for specific engineering disciplines.
  • Advanced knowledge in the use of AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • 3-5 years of experience in CAD drafting, transportation, land development, or construction management.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in land development.
  • Experience in construction management.

Work Environment

The work environment involves regular meetings and collaboration with various departments. You will be required to use CAD software for drafting and prepare detailed documentation. The role requires adherence to a professional dress code during meetings and interactions with stakeholders.
