Plant Controller needed in Medley FL! This is a permanent role with bonus offered! Must be comfortable working in the manufacturing setting!

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all accounting operations including cost accounting, inventory accounting, and budgeting.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Monitor plant performance metrics and provide variance analysis against budget and forecasts.
• Lead the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes for the plant.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Partner with operations to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve financial performance.
• Oversee physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Develop and mentor plant finance staff.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in financial management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting and inventory management.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments and lead a team.
