ACTALENT IS HIRING A CHEMIST TO JOIN THE TEAM!

Description:

• Prepare and analyze chemistry samples following EPA standard methods. Create reagents and standards for all samples.

• Maintain working knowledge of all hazardous chemical risks. Follow safety protocols for all laboratory activities.

• Maintain current knowledge of current policies and regulations. Assure compliance with all applicable NELAC/District Environmental Sciences Laboratory Quality Assurance requirements.

• Review and enter data into the Laboratory Information Management System.

• Follow standard procedures to calibrate laboratory instrumentation and equipment accurately. Monitor equipment and report problems detected.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Perform or assist with any operations, as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules and quality requirements.

• Participate in any variety of meetings and work groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems, and maintain a specified level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements, and policies.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.
