Geotechnical Engineer

Description

We are looking for a highly motivated, self-driven Geotechnical Staff Engineer to join our team in Orlando, FL. Our office provides comprehensive consulting engineering services, including geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing. While a significant portion of our client base is private/commercial, we also engage in public sector projects. - Perform field observation and testing on grading and construction projects, including field density testing and concrete sampling and testing. - Perform geotechnical exploration including soils borings, concrete and asphalt evaluations for various geotechnical studies. - Assist in geotechnical report preparation including exploration logs, geotechnical analyses including slope stability, liquefaction, settlement, etc., and report writing. - Perform miscellaneous field, office and laboratory duties in support of geotechnical studies and construction materials testing projects.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

BS in Civil Engineer (MS preferred) Emphasis on geotechnical engineering strongly preferred. Successful completion of NCEES FE Exam preferred. 4-8 yrs professional experience preferred.
