Financial Reporting Manager

Job Title: Financial Reporting Analyst

Location: Tampa, FL

Responsibilities

• Providing fiscal data for the annual budget preparation.
• Managing accounts for projects and preparing documentation for audits.
• Handling month-end responsibilities, including actual analysis, budget preparation, amendments, and journal entries, ensuring correct coding and descriptions.
• Conducting year-end responsibilities, such as fund analysis, setting up receivables, analyzing and adjusting indirect costs, and performing variance analysis.
• Coordinating and collaborating with internal teams to identify opportunities for process improvements, which will contribute to building internal relationships and forecasting program needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or related field.
• Multiple years of experience in financial reporting.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with state reporting (preferred but not required; individuals from corporate backgrounds are also welcome).
• Supervisory experience (will supervise one employee).
