Job Description - Commercial Lease Analyst

As a Lease Analyst, your primary responsibilities will include reviewing and interpreting commercial lease agreements, creating detailed lease abstracts for new contracts and amendments, accurately entering and maintaining lease data within property management systems, and ensuring a clear understanding of lease terms and conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review lease abstracts for all new agreements and amendments, ensuring complete and accurate documentation for approval.
  • Input and maintain lease data within property management software systems with precision.
  • Ensure accurate entry of leasing details to support effective tracking and reporting.
  • Manage and update Common Area Maintenance (CAM) charges and real estate tax data.
  • Review lease documents and corresponding abstracts to verify accuracy and compliance with contractual terms.
  • Calculate percentage rent charges in accordance with lease provisions.
  • Record cash receipts in the property management system promptly and accurately.
  • Assist Property Managers in resolving tenant account discrepancies and inquiries.
  • Audit invoices to confirm alignment with tenant payment obligations.
  • Generate rent variance reports and provide thorough explanations for any discrepancies.
  • Conduct initial reviews of operating expenses to ensure accuracy and validate supporting documentation.

Essential Skills

  • Demonstrated expertise in lease administration, including the full lease abstraction and amendment process.
  • Strong ability to interpret complex lease contracts and a solid understanding of commercial property leasing practices.
  • Proven experience with invoicing procedures and Common Area Maintenance (CAM) reconciliations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial real estate or property leasing.
  • Preferred experience in invoicing processes and Common Area Maintenance (CAM) reconciliations.

This is a hybrid position located in Temple Terrace.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Temple Terrace, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.04 - $26.44/hr.
