AIA Billing Specialist

Description:

• Generate timely and accurate customer invoices regularly

• Maintain and improve customer contract folders as well as the documentation process for issued invoices

• Prepare bank deposits and process all customer payments in the accounting system

• Monitor accounts receivable aging report to ensure timely customer payments while communicating with managers to ensure overdue invoices are addressed with the customer

• Assist in resolving customer inquiries regarding invoicing and payment process

• Perform accounts receivable reconciliation monthly

• Assist in gathering and compiling data to generate monthly revenue and aging reports as well as other reports relevant to accounts receivable.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Associate degree in accounting or related field with relevant work experience in construction billing/AR (AIA Billing).

• Advanced Excel skills.

• General knowledge of GAAP reporting requirements is preferred.

• Demonstrated strong project management skills.

• Attention to detail and accuracy.

• Interested in process improvement.

• Willing to adapt quickly to quick changes in direction.

• Internally motivated to seek out answers, generate ideas, and develop new skills.
