Description:
The Staffing Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative support for the hourly recruitment process, across multiple mills. They are the right-hand person to the Human Resource Business Partner and Corporate Recruiter, to streamline the recruitment process to hire the right people for the right job, quickly. Primary activities include, but are not limited to:
•Providing administrative support on items such as: initiating requestions, candidate assessments and pre-screens, scheduling and coordinating interviews, receiving, and processing hiring manager feedback, and acting as the main point of contact for all candidate correspondence, ensuring candidates have a positive experience with the recruitment process and our company.
•Staffing Coordinators are responsible for entering and tracking candidate data, running reports, and providing weekly staffing updates to the mill leadership team.
•Once candidates are identified, Staffing Coordinators will administer pre-employment activities, including, but not limited to: extending the verbal offer and scheduling tentative start dates, coordinating forms, applications, drug testing, bg checks.
•Finally, Staffing Coordinators are responsible for Day-1, New Hire Orientation coordination, which may include: email correspondence and coordination with key mill leaders, ensuring security clearance for new hires, scheduling required online training (Absorb), and remotely processing I-9 verification, subject to site specific process.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide administrative assistance for the end-to-end hourly recruiting process
• Receive and initiate requisition requests
• Ensure data integrity and update candidate records in the Taleo and Hirelytics as needed.
• Initiate candidate online assessments and pre-screens
• Schedule in-person interviews for Hiring Managers, HR Business Partners and candidates as required
• Coordinate and confirm candidate interview agendas (Support dissemination of interview guides and materials to interview team and manage all communications with hiring managers, interviewers, and candidates)
• Arrange travel, transportation and accommodations as needed
• Extend verbal offers to candidates and coordinate tentative start date based on mill schedule and candidate availability
• Coordinate background, drug, and additional pre-screen processes
• Coordinate all aspects of the pre-boarding processes
• Schedule and coordinate day 1, new hire orientation with key mill leaders
• Activate new hire online training for day 1 (Absorb safety training)
• Remotely process I-9 verification for new hires
• Act as the main point of contact for candidate correspondence.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues and escalate as appropriate
