• Develop and review quality inspection and test plans for new product development and legacy production parts

• Contribute manufacturing and quality expertise to design reviews for new product development, supplier changes, product changes and/or improvements for legacy production parts

• Perform reviews of first article inspections and documentation for new product development, dormancy and supplier changes of legacy production parts

• Coordinate the review and resolution of non-conformances, liasing with internal stakeholders and suppliers to develop, implement and monitor corrective and preventative action (CAPA) plans

• Work collaboratively within and across cross-functional teams with minimal supervision

• Responsible for Supplier Recurrent Approvals, Source Inspections and Audits

• Participate in internal audits of the QMS

• Other related duties may be assigned

• Must have a strong quality technical experiecne and must be familiar with Quality Management Systems, AS9100/ISO9001, and FAA regulations, as well as inspection and manufacturing processes and procedures.

• Strong knowledge of Root Cause Analysis and CAPA tools

• Demonstrated knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance, as well as Standard Measurement & Test Equipment

• Must have excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills

• A high attention to detail is required

• Strong understanding of business function and cross group dependencies/relationships

• Must thrive in a team-oriented and deadline-driven environment

• Must demonstrate an ability to easily create partnerships with internal customers

• Self-starter, proactive, adaptable, and engaging approach

• Exercise judgement in selecting innovative, practical methods to achieve problem resolution while maintaining regulatory and QMS compliance

• Possess a strong work ethic and willingness to get the job done in a timely manner without sacrificing quality

• Understanding the need for urgency without sacrificing quality

• A high level of commitment to customer satisfaction
