The Financial Manager will work with Controller and other departments within the organization to help develop analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven initiatives that will increase productivity and streamline finance and asset management processes throughout the organization. Offer training and support to the accounting team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in the creation, update, and regular evaluation of corporate and property financials.

• Create monthly cash flow forecast for Corporate and managed properties.

• Monitor bank accounts/cash management.

• Responsible for reporting monthly budget to actual variances for corporate entities.

• Provide training and support to the offshore accounting team.

• Assist with due diligence and onboarding process during acquisitions.

• Prepare investor and lender financial reports.

• Develop analysis and presentation materials needed for the executive team.

• Support on ad-hoc requests as required

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Education, Training, and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, real estate, or related discipline;

• Minimum 3 years experience in a combination of finance, analysis, real estate, and/or construction;

• Experience training others and supporting a team is preferred.

• Relevant analytical work experience is required.

• Project Management Skills: Must possess excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail

• Software Knowledge: Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel skills. AppFolio experience is preferred.

• Must have knowledge of extracting data from a database (knowledge of relational databases and Structured Query Language (SQL) is a strong plus).
