Controls Engineer

Description:

The candidate will be support the remaining lines for the EU MDR Laser installation work. they will be working with a validation engineer, mechanical engineer, and project managers in order to complete the last 16 lines. These lines are a mix of STL and AB programming. This team will be responsible for documentation of modifications to the electrical controls, and programming requests, documenting issues and changes made to the process, including editing and updating the process operations sheet. They will then make coding changes, by creating test cases, where they test, run, and review the new code before production.

• 1-2 years of PLC programming knowledge and troubleshooting of Industrial equipment • Ability to follow procedures and interpret PLC and HMI process control documents and all industrial equipment prints. • Strong communication skills • Experience working in a highly regulated environment (FDA experience preferred) • Strong documentation skills required (process documents, change notices,) Nice to Haves • FDA experience and Wonderware HMI experience • BSEE is preferred but not required.
