Our customer is seeking a Azure Cloud Systems Engineer for a full time opportunity. This person's responsibilities will be to perform complex Cloud Infrastructure solution designs, analytical, administration, and troubleshooting work. He/she will implement, maintain, monitor and protect our customers Cloud infrastructure. The Systems Engineer must be able to work independently and without constant supervision.


-Assist in design of complex cloud solutions.

-Build, Deploy and Support complex cloud solutions.

-Work with Cloud Architect to support Darden’s deployment and growth into Azure Cloud space.

-Coordinate with other teams to provide the most optimal design and integration into the Azure tenant.

-Assist in design of O365 services

-Build, Deploy and Support O365 services.

-Developing processes to increase efficiency and automate regular maintenance of support actions.

-Providing on-call support.

-Regularly grow and develop their knowledge and technical abilities.

-Provide 1st level support for Azure infrastructure technologies

-Provide 2nd level support for Azure applications (Data Bricks, Data Factory, Functions, etc.)

-Monitor and quickly respond to viruses, DDOS attacks, and other security related issues.

-Ensure work is performed in a timely manner and status communicated regularly to relevant teams

-Perform other IT-related tasks as necessary


-Minimum of 8 years’ experience in IT field or 5 years’ experience with a bachelor’s degree

-Minimum of 3 years’ experience deploying resources in Microsoft Azure and O365.

-Azure Fundamentals and Azure Administrator certifications

-Ability to work, with assistance from the Cloud Architect, with all stakeholders to design and recommend solutions to meet ongoing needs of the organization.

-Understanding of a multitude of Azure resources and services such as containers, virtual machines, storage, firewalls, network security groups, web application firewalls, vnets, log analytics, sentinel, azure monitor, alerting, metrics, Data Factory, Databricks, Azure AD, Data Catalog, Web Apps, Functions, Application Service Environments, Key Vaults, Azure Backups.

-Knowledge of O365 services and their configuration.

-Either PowerShell or Bash scripting knowledge & experience.

-Knowledge of networking infrastructure (LAN, WAN, VPN) and protocols (TCP/IP) and cryptographic protocols (Diffie-Helmen).

-Experience in working with formal Change Control Systems following the ITIL model.
