These positions will be working within the Wicks Unlimited division. They are in need of 4 Production workers that will work either in the Waxing or Indexing side of the production area. Eventually people will get cross trained but initially they will be placed in either department depending on the their interviews and where their managers feel their strength's lie.
These positions are contract thru the end of the year to start - could roll into a temp to perm should they perform well and volume continues. 1 opening is a replacement and 2 are adds due to volume.
Will be responsible for taking the spools of wick and feeding them through the machine to allow for the wax to be added to the wicks. They will be reading a work order and need to look at the order # and feet needed to know how to set up the waxer.
Candidates must be able to lift 25-30 lbs as they will remove the spools and load them on a push cart to be packaged after the wax has been added.
Responsible for feeding wicks through and then making sure they are processing into the baskets properly. They have production mechanics that do the set up of the machine and our Indexers are just Visual QC and feeding the wicks. They will dump a basket of Eyelets into the buckets to be assembled. Indexing is the assembly portion of the wick to the eyelet.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Candidates must be able to lift 25-30 lbs.
Previous experience operating a machine is helpful but not required.
Prior manufacturing experience is preferred.
candidates will be required to stand for long periods of time as a function of this job.
