A Day in the Role…               

• Complete inventory cycle including but not limited to:
• Calculating landed cost of goods received.
• Calculating and allocating the freight and duty charges.
• Calculating repair reserve and returns accrual.
• Calculating excess and obsolete inventory.
• Preparing Inventory schedules.
• Month end reconciliation of detail inventory to General Ledger.
• Enter inventory factory invoices into Accounts Payable system.
• Calculating reserve for co-op advertising allowances.
• Calculate, prepare, and file sales and use tax returns.
• Assist Accounts Receivable as needed.
• Assist in monthly and quarterly financial closings.

Skills and Strengths Necessary To Be Eligible: 

Inventory | Reconciliations | Journal Entries | Microsoft Excel |

Required Experience: 

•  Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, preferred
•  Solid understanding of basic accounting; debit & credits and financial statement balances
• ERP experience
