We are seeking applicants for Maintenance Industrial Mechanic in our Atlanta Container corrugated facility located at 3200 Lakewood Ave, East Point, GA 30344.
Below the pay rate for Atlanta Container.
Pay Rate: $26.65 - $45.00 per hour based on mechanical and electrical skills and experience

Up to 100 paid training hours annually for technicians to advance through the progressive skill levels and achieve higher pay.
Shift: 1st (6AM to 2PM) and 2nd (2PM to 10PM)
Technicians supply their own basic hand tools. PCA provides a tool allowance to help technicians maintain basic hand tools. PCA provides all special and heavy tools.
SUMMARY:
Responsible for maintaining all converting and corrugating equipment to minimize downtime.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform a variety of maintenance tasks to diagnose, repair, rebuild, replace mechanical, PLC, hydraulic and pneumatic systems on all plant equipment and facilities.
Use maintenance knowledge to increase productivity, decrease downtime and waste.
Perform preventative maintenance inspections.
Follow local, state, and national electric codes.
Demonstrate ability to troubleshoot programmable controllers and troubleshoot and repair all A/C and D/C drives and their control systems use.
Demonstrate ability to use all aspects of the maintenance software program.
Demonstrate ability to plan and schedule maintenance work, assign work to other maintenance classifications according to their abilities and limitations.
Maximize the utilization of equipment by maintaining the machinery to run at available capacity and speed.
Maintain a clean and safe workplace.
Use maintenance knowledge to increase productivity, decrease downtime and waste.
Work with a sense of urgency to respond to machine downtime events.
Will be required to complete in-house training programs to develop equipment specific maintenance skills. The position may also require attendance at external training that may require occasional overnight travel.
Must be able to follow all safety and company policies that include lock-out tag-out procedures.
Report to work on time.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or GED certificate
At least 1 year of experience successfully troubleshooting and repairing industrial manufacturing equipment.
Must have knowledge and experience with repairing and maintaining mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC systems and industrial equipment.
Be passionate about maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
Ability to work any shift, overtime, and weekends as needed.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Technical degree and/or comparable experience in successfully troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery and equipment; particularly within the corrugated or packaging industry.
