My client, a reputable healthcare company in Atlanta, GA is hiring for a Patient Support Specialist with competitive pay and growth opportunity!


Job Description:

  • Handling inbound calls 95% of the time - answering inquiries or transferring due to the mainline having limited prompts & about 30% of the calls are scheduling. Handling outbound calls 5% of the time for follow up with patients.
  • They use an appointment scheduling software called Dash which overlays their EMR (NexGen) to help with scheduling.
  • Team Leads handle most of the rescheduling.
  • They will be routed calls from each of the 31 different offices to schedule for 5 different regions of Georgia: Northern, Southern, Northwestern, Decatur, Gwinnett, Pediatrics.

Qualifications to Apply:

  • Healthcare or medical experience ideal to help understand terminology used
  • Medical Billing or Coding Certification will allow them to move into the Revenue Cycle Department long-term
  • LPN, CNA, RN will allow them to move into clinical opportunities
