As the Digital Media Manager of Marketing Activation on our Sam's Club Member Access Platform (MAP) team, you operate with high integrity and strive to support our ambitious growth goals and to increase awareness of the MAP brand. You are a highly organized and execution-driven professional with the ability to prioritize and drive multiple key initiatives to completion.

Directly reporting to the Head of Marketing Activation, you will play a critical role determining the strategy and execution for how we show up in market, specifically across our paid and owned digital channels, to ensure we are driving awareness and interest for MAP among our target audiences.

The ideal candidate must be both business-minded and creatively driven, have superb communication skills, a proven track record of achieving measurable marketing results, extensive experience driving projects and teams forward, and needs to be able to work collaboratively with peers and across other functions.

As a self-driven, trusted partner, and representative of Sam's Club MAP organization, you will regularly interact with associates, cross-functional partners, and external vendors. Our business is moving with tremendous speed, and we are growing fast. You build productive and positive relationships across the organization while delivering impactful results to grow the MAP business.

You'll make an impact by...
  • Evolving, scaling, and executing our B2B social media strategy on LinkedIn and other social channels including owned and paid tactics.
  • Developing and curating engaging social content designed to build our brand, expand our presence and increase engagement/followers.
  • Working closely with our brand and communications teams to ensure we are creating content that aligns with our broader marketing themes and brand vision.
  • Evaluating and testing new social formats and platforms.
  • Providing monthly media performance reports including insights and recommendations for future optimization.
  • Developing creative briefs for internal design team and agency partners for all paid and owned media initiatives.
  • Assisting with the strategy, development and execution of all paid media campaigns. This is inclusive of all channels and types of campaigns (display, search, social)
  • Supporting the development of a new email marketing program.
  • Supporting the maintenance and updating of the company website using back-end CMS; ensure content and design is aligned with paid and owned digital campaigns.
  • Support the production of new video assets that will be used across all digital channels.
  • Assisting with the production of marketing materials and collateral.
  • Partnering with Business Operations, Product and Engineering to implement the tools needed to deploy, measure, track, and report on the effectiveness of all B2B media campaigns.

  • You have deep expertise in B2B social media, inclusive of strategy and content development.
  • You have website CMS experience and are comfortable using a variety of platforms.
  • You have experience building and implementing digital tracking technologies and measurement.
  • You are both a visionary and big picture conceptual thinker as well as a doer.
  • You have strong written and oral presentation skills, and ability to balance storytelling with data-backed insights.
  • You're an expert at translating internal narratives into public-facing content.
  • You have demonstrated the ability to do more with less and can provide an example.
  • You have experience working in a startup environment.
  • You possess the ability to thrive in a cross-functional, matrixed environment with highly collaborative, team-oriented approach to problem solving.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years' experience in Social Media Marketing, Digital Marketing and/or other relevant fields
