Senior Specialist, Implementation

POSITION PROFILE

Acquires and analyzes data and information regarding Exceptional Demand /large orders that originate within assigned geography. Partners with Sales Management Team to identify Exceptional Demand Opportunities and in ensuring information is prepared and submitted according to policy. Works with Sales Team to track status of the Exceptional Demand opportunity and communicates to Supply Chain Functional areas throughout the sales process. Works with the Planning Team to verify product configurations and product availability and make recommendations to Sales Team for changes to Forecasted Demand requirements

Acts as the primary Supply Chain project coordinator for large installations that originate within the assigned geography or being installed across other regional areas. Locally controls the daily release and works actionable items to help ensure a constant workflow within the Regional Fulfillment Center (RFC). Works with cross functional project Teams to develop equipment implementation plans and to ensure equipment needs, set up process, and delivery schedule meet the customer's requirements. Responsible for reporting all delivery and installation information for assigned large orders. Single supply Chain point of contact within the Region for sales, order management, Supply Chain and project Teams to provide communication and issue identification and problem resolution for large deals.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Participates in weekly/monthly calls with Sales Teams to identify large order opportunities and Exceptional demand requirements within assigned geography.
  • Partners with Sales Team to create Exceptional Demand Information and provide Advanced Supply Chain Planning (ASCP) with sales forecast data
  • Monitors progress of sales opportunities over time and updates and confirms equipment requirements for confirmed order demand
  • Participate in planning meetings with cross-functional teams to establish implementation schedules for various sales channels for large orders including Global Accounts, Large Government Installations and Regional Major Accounts.
  • Provides weekly status information on inventory shortages and constraints to the sales/project teams.
  • Provides daily reporting detail throughout project implementation for order status and delivery information.
  • Partners with CC Management to ensure customer requirements are understood and communicated to Field Distribution Personnel. This includes special set up requirements, delivery/pickup requirements or other special requests.
  • Identifies implementation issues relating to Field Supply Chain and communicates to cross functional team with recommended resolution steps
  • Provides support and assists in providing information regarding issues and communicates to CC Management Team to take corrective action.
  • Partners with other deployment coordinators around the country to support cross regional implementations.
  • Assists with requests for information from cross functional team and/or sales management team Identifies issues and communicates to CC management team to take corrective action
  • Track issues and maintain databases for large order implementation issues and resolution process and identify changes to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the process .
  • Provides direct communication to Regional Management on any special project needs or issues.
  • Works the daily release pulling orders forward, working actionable issues and helps drive Hot Rushes through the RFC.
  • Provides information and share knowledge to Supply Chain counterparts to enhance our ability to meet future customers' needs and assist in implementing standard processes.
  • Assuming leadership roles on-site, particularly in areas such as on-site recognition and new hire orientations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, and Certifications)

Typically Required:
  • Four-year College degree (preferably in Business or Logistics) or equivalent work experience is required
  • Must possess five years of related experience and/or training
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite is required with advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Experience in Oracle R12 is required
  • Strong knowledge and experience in database administration includes querying, importing and exporting data

  • Possesses demonstrated knowledge and experience working in cross functional areas to include Sales processes, Order Management, ASCP/Planning, Supply Chain, Delivery Systems
