Charge Capture Specialist

Description:

This person will be supporting new clinics & will require reading/understanding of physician charting notes as well as some knowledge of office visit/testing codes & modifiers. The EMR does a lot of the work for them, so they are mostly going behind registration to make sure insurances are entered correctly & providers dropping codes that correlate to test/services provider.

They will get a weekly schedule of days to work (date of service) then log into the appointment desk in Agility which breaks it out by day of service. They will work through each clinic. All work happens solely in Agility, so they are only using the external weekly schedule to guide their workload.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience with Agility

• A/R work is a plus b/c front end work catching charges helps prevent issues become an issue on the backend (denials, follow up).
