Job Title: Safety Professional for New Construction on Ethanol Plant
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Safety Professional to oversee the safety aspects of the new construction project on a corn processing plant. This role is crucial in ensuring compliance with safety standards and implementing best practices throughout the construction process.
Responsibilities
- Oversee safety protocols and procedures during the construction of the ethanol plant.
- Ensure compliance with industrial and construction safety standards.
- Identify potential hazards and implement corrective measures.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections.
- Collaborate with construction teams to promote a culture of safety.
Essential Skills
- Extensive knowledge of safety standards in construction and industrial settings.
- Experience in ethanol construction projects.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols in new construction environments.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Industrial or heavy construction experience.
- Osha 10, 30, 500, 510 Preferred
Work Environment
The role involves working on-site in Steamboat Rock, IA at the plant construction location, adhering to all safety protocols. The work environment is dynamic and requires constant vigilance and proactive safety measures. The work schedule is 5 days a week, 10 hours today.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Cedar Rapids, IA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $60.00/hr.
