Position Overview
We are hiring detail-oriented Warehouse Pickers to join a large, fast-paced distribution center in Davenport. This role is critical to ensuring products are picked, packed, and shipped accurately to customers—including international locations.
This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with strong potential for long-term growth and advancement.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick and pack orders accurately using an RF scanner
- Sort and stage boxes onto pallets for shipment
- Handle a wide range of products—from small packages to large machine parts
- Use appropriate lifting equipment to safely move heavier items
- Load and unload pallets and trailers efficiently
- Verify product accuracy to ensure correct shipments
- Perform general warehouse duties including packaging, sorting, and inventory support
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all quality standards with a strong focus on accuracy over speed
- Work scheduled hours plus mandatory overtime and occasional Saturdays
Qualifications
- 3–6 months of warehouse experience preferred
- Experience with order picking, packing, or inventory tasks
- Ability to use or quickly learn RF scanners
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs regularly
- Comfortable working around material handling equipment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed
Preferred Experience
- Distribution center or general labor experience
- Shipping/receiving or inventory experience
- Exposure to large-item handling or heavy materials
- Willingness to be trained on equipment (including forklifts)

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of DAVENPORT, IA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
