Lab Technician

Description:

Looking for Quality Control Lab Technician to work in their lab to perform quality checks and testing on raw materials, in process and finished goods. Will be responsible for the following:

• Formulation Checks (salt, acid, pH)
• Titrations
• Mass-Volume
• Sensory testing (taste) 2x per shift
• Calibrations of lab instruments
• Basic micro testing- making solutions
• Using SAP system and Microsoft applications to enter data
• Grab samples from the production floor a few times a day to take back to the lab and sample
• Work with production personnel to communicate issues/potential issues

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in sciences (Chem, bio, food science, etc)
• Either professional manufacturing experience (quality or otherwise) OR work experience in a fast-paced environment (restaurant/retail/food industry internship/etc)
• Must have basic proficiency in Microsoft, Exel to enter data
