Job Description
As a Quality Technician, you will be responsible for conducting final quality inspections on products before they are shipped. Your role is crucial in ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities
- Verify the accuracy of information on name plates.
- Ensure labels, schematics, and instructions are correctly placed.
- Inspect frame and body panels for any imperfections.
- Check that equipment is clean and free of stains and debris.
- Process final paperwork and inventory transactions.
- Communicate and follow up on any issues identified during inspections.
- Experience with HVAC systems, troubleshooting, installation, and repair.
- Knowledge in mechanical and electrical engineering.
- Ability to perform quality control, assurance, and inspections.
- Proficiency in using test equipment and calibration tools.
- Attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using a computer and sending emails.
- Good interpersonal, organizational, and listening skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to multi-task and effectively communicate with employees across the organization.

Work Environment
Work in a modern, well-lit, and spacious 3-year-old facility in Elmhurst, IL, complete with a cool game/break room and an in-facility gym. Each employee receives a personal workstation equipped with an iPad for tracking hours, reading prints, and performing documentation. Employees are allowed to wear one earbud and listen to music while working and can dress casually in a t-shirt and durable shorts. Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elk Grove Village, IL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
