Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Quality Control Technician responsible for ensuring the quality of in-process and finished powder coating products. This role involves running various quality control tests, including spray panels, gloss checks, and color testing. The technician will conduct root cause analysis and make recommendations for correcting any products that are out of specification, confirm the quality of finished products for final release, and have the authority to halt production when nonconformance is detected. Test results must be accurately entered into SAP.
Responsibilities
- Conduct quality control tests on in-process and finished powder coating products.
- Perform spray panel tests, gloss checks, and color testing.
- Analyze root causes and recommend corrections for out-of-spec products.
- Confirm the quality of finished products before their final release.
- Exercise stop authority if nonconformance is detected.
- Enter test results into the SAP system.
Qualifications
- 1+ years of quality control experience.
- Experience in paints, coatings, inks, or a similar field.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong decision-making skills and accountability.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Geneva, IL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
