Plumbing Engineer

Looking for a fully remote Plumbing Engineer for an Architecture/Engineering firm in Illinois!

Description:

Collaborating with PM, clients, mechanical and electrical engineers to produce plumbing design drawings and specifications on projects

Will be working on projects from the schematic design through construction administration phase

Producing construction documents providing waste/vent, roof and storm drainage, water distribution and fire protection system designs in AutoCAD

Communicating with clients and team to manage and coordinate scope and schedule of projects

May conduct site surveys and construction observation

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related

Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit is a plus

5 or more years of experience designing plumbing systems, contractor work is a plus

Experience working on commercial, residential or municipal projects

Knowledge of IECC, ILPC, IPC, or UFC building codes is preferred

PE license is a plus

Beneficial if they have experience pitching pipe
