Job Description

We are seeking a Quality Engineer with a strong experience in the manufacturing industry, specifically metals or plastics manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of the PPAP process and experience in creating and editing PPAP documents, including Control Plans. Responsibilities include ensuring all quality documentation is submitted on time, potentially handling some corrective action reporting, and updating PPAP documentation and Control Plans throughout the engineering process.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or Bachelors Degree in Engineering
• 2+ years of experience in a Manufacturing environment
• Good understanding of PPAP and submittal process
• Experience creating & editing PPAP documents
• Understanding of Control Plan process and First Article inspection reporting (FAI’s)
• CMM exposure (basic edits to programs)
• Understanding of part tolerancing and GD&T

Work Environment

Candidates must come from either a Metals experience (metal stamping, metal fabrication, machining) or a Plastics experience (injection molding). Manufacturing is done onsite.
