Job Description
Operate and manage turret machines to carry out various machining operations with precision and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate turret machines to perform drilling, tapping, reaming, and other machining operations.
- Load raw materials and ensure proper alignment and clamping of workpieces.
- Monitor machine operations and make minor adjustments to maintain accuracy.
- Inspect finished parts for dimensions, quality, and defects using measuring tools.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and perform routine machine maintenance.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment.
- Complete production documentation and report any issues to supervisors.
- 1-2+ years of experience setting up and operating machines, or specialized training and/or certification.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or drawings.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- General labor skills including labeling, turret, and press brake experience.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Schaumburg, IL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $21.00/hr.
