Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Forklift Driver in the Screening Department at a leading international third-party logistics company. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are efficiently screened and prepared for air export, contributing to the seamless movement of goods across the globe.
Responsibilities
- Operate a sit-down forklift to transport pallets of products to the screening team.
- Assist in the screening of cargo, ensuring all necessary certifications are obtained for air transport.
- Move cleared pallets to the staging area for loading onto ULDs and subsequent transport.
- Participate in general labor tasks including packing, palletizing, shipping, and receiving.
- Maintain inventory records and contribute to overall warehouse organization.
- Proficient in operating a sit-down forklift.
- Experience in warehouse, packaging, and material handling.
- Ability to consistently lift 50lbs.
- Basic math skills and proficiency in reading and writing English.
- Prior experience in a cross-dock 3PL environment is a plus.
- Willingness to learn cargo screening processes.
The work environment is a clean, cross-dock facility where products are efficiently moved in and out within 24 hours. Though not temperature-controlled, the facility offers consistent air flow with plenty of dock doors, maintaining a mild temperature. The role requires working approximately 50 hours a week.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of WOOD DALE, IL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
