A Brief Overview

Production Control is responsible for coordinating production activities in support of meeting the production schedule. A Production Coordinator works closely with production teams to manage exceptions, resolve issues related to flow of work and communicating risks.

 

Job Responsibilities

• Utilizes MES to document and track exceptions to orders
• Performs various transactions related to the flow of material through production
• Generates shift pass downs and runs reporting to support execution decisions
• Provides clerical support for the execution of the Production Schedule (schedule evaluation, shift pass down, MES updates, etc.)
• Provides transactional support for the flow of material through production (CCCs, BTS, inbound/outbound)
• Communicates risks/issues related work orders and/or schedule to Production Coordinators
• Works closely with cross functional teams
• Performs to established KPIs

Qualifications

• High school/GED required
• A minimum of 1-year progressive experience in a related field preferred
