Operations Specialist

Hiring now for an Operations Specialist in Wood Dale, IL.

Description:

Main responsibilities are the Customer support and Data entry side of logistics/freight forwarding.

This position is an operational role, inputting information into excel, following up with customers and making sure that billing & emails are up to date.

- Arranging pickups for customers.

- Arrange the trucking transportation, to and from 'shipper' or company that needs shipment sent.

- Arrange ocean carriers along with the shipment.

- Communicate w/ KWE offices overseas around shipments.

- constant communication w/ customers on updating information of shipment.

Pay: $18-20 an hour

Hours: 9a-6p, 1 hour lunch break.

Monday-Friday, Tues - Saturday

Skills & Qualifications:

MUST HAVE:

Excel, Outlook & Word skills - basic

Ability to stay on task and organized - needs to be able to manage to-do list and work through SOPs

Entry level is okay - looking for someone with 0-2/3 years of retail or office experience at most

Customer Oriented - all candidates must be able to express customer oriented skills

Proactive/go-getter attitude

PLUS:

BA degree

office experience

Freight forwarding is a plus

ocean import is a plus
