Description:

Prepares detailed mechanical drawings utilizing the proper linework and tolerance dimensions so as to pictorially define such parts as gears, bearings, pistons, shafts, splines, housings, valves, seals, etc.

Prepares such drawings to the degree of accuracy and completeness specified so that the manufacture, inspection, and engineering intent and integrity of the parts depicted are facilitated.

Prepares assembly, detail, and outline drawings depicting the various component parts to scale and in their correctly assembled positions. From instructions and information provided, including layout and detail drawings of the individual parts, obtains data necessary to properly depict part size and configuration.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school OR six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
