To provide customer service for assigned customers internal and/or external. This includes but is not limited to processing of orders and acknowledgements, expediting, and quoting of product. This role is located in Lincolnshire, IL Responsibilities: • Effectively support and manage the day to day customer account activity and relationships for designated territories and/or accounts. • Consistently exhibit excellent verbal and written communications by incorporating effective listening, appropriate feedback, timely responsiveness, and results oriented problem solving skills. • Provide timely pro-active follow-up on all customer requests. Anticipate and service customer needs whenever possible. • Conducts written, electronic and telephone communications with customers and representatives regarding product information applications, quotations, prices, deliveries, return goods, etc. while providing superior customer satisfaction. • Provides single window customer contact. Resolves customer complaints and directs customers to the appropriate “expert” to answer questions when necessary. • Enters sales orders and changes accurately into the order entry system within established time commitments. • Coordinates efforts with production, purchasing, shipping and handling, and all other appropriate departments to expedite and ensure timely delivery of scheduled shipments. Maintains close relationships with departments necessary to carry orders through to completion according to commitments promised. • Provides/assists with back-up coverage in the absence of other Customer Service Representatives.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
MUST HAVES: ·(2-4 years of Customer Service Exp. in manufacturing or related field -Excellent typing skills, 45-50 wpm (they will do a lot of data entry for client information) -MS Office - Word, Excel (Basic) - Must test on Excel and get in the 90's NICE HAVES: -2 or 4 Year college degree in business or related discipline preferred. -ERP experience (any - they have a proprietary system "PH Connect") -EDI systems SOFT SKILLS: -Attendance is huge -Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills -Ability to interact with customer executives and high level managers. -Advanced computer skills, or ability to quickly advance to this level of expertise. -Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. -Available to travel as needed to customers or training sessions.
