Check in for all depts – 2 floors and rotate between -Will work in EPIC EMR, 2 instances, different for Northshore and Advocate - Checking paitents into the system and preparing them for their appointment - Incoming calls, call volume is lower - Some knowledge with insurance companies - Pediatrics - Paying attention to detail – different rules with various diff depts – 20 different specialties lab radiology, therapies, add on ortho + sports med and so they have to pay attention to dept, patient, rules with each/forms, certain systems, print certain sheets.

**BIGGEST must-haves: -Flexibility, wiling to come in if there are call offs, work late if patients still in immediate care, etc. -Systems – EMR’s and working in multiple screens, tools simultaneously PLUS - Working in a medical office environment -working knowledge of EMR Systems (EPIC is a huge plus) -Excellent customer service abilities - Experience utilizing & learning new computer systems from previous work history. -Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a quick moving environment. - Proven Attention to detail - Passion for helping others, even in stressful environments - HS Diploma SOFT SKILLS: Ability to prioritize and organize workload Sophisticated interviewing, communication and negotiation skills Independent decision making Ability to work hours that verify based on needs of the organization Ability to work as a team member
