Supply Chain Coordinator

DESCRIPTION --

•Support the development and implementation of best practices related to inventory management and material control

•Lead expediting and lead-time reduction activities to exceed customer expectations and drive the industry’s best-in-class Customer fill-rate

•Analyze usage, sales, market trends, and price trends in order to make recommendations and proactively drive cost reduction and efficiency initiatives

•Support supplier negotiations and review of supply contracts, agreements, lead-times, delivery methods, quality requirements, cost reduction, etc.

•Lead quality efforts with all vendors to drive the industry’s best-in-class

•Proactively participate in the vendor review, audit

•Drives continuous improvement results in current purchasing procedures, always focusing on the elimination of waste and non-value added activities

•Maintains purchasing documents, files and records for the purpose of ensuring the availability of documentation and compliance with established policies and regulatory guidelines

•Assists the Procurement Manager in all Purchasing activities and special projects

•Ability to work in a constant state of alertness

•Complete additional duties as assigned
