Collections Specialist (AR)

Overview:

Aston Carter is partnering with an established technology organization seeking accounts receivable specialist for a projected based engagement with potential of going permanent. This is a great opportunity to gain experience with a fast growing organization that is recognized nationally for their success. Ideal candidate will have B2B/B2C collections, intermediate Excel skills, and knowledge of mid-large accounting ERP exposure. Can interview and start ASAP!

Responsibilities:

• Managing a portfolio of customers based on a geographical region ensuring customers pay on time
• Analyzing and assessing the creditworthiness of account/client using external credit risk management tools/reports
• Supporting the collection efforts/calls for accounts receivable portfolio
• Documenting daily collections activity
• Researching account disputes and billing discrepancies
• Performing account/payment reconciliations
• Responding to credit inquiries from external and internal clients
• Identifying delinquent accounts requiring external collection efforts
• ERP: SAP (will train if have not utilized in past roles)

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

- 2+ years of Collections experience (can be B2B or B2C)

- Microsoft Excel experience (basic formulas)

- High School Diploma

- ERP software experience (mid-to-large erp software)
