General Purpose of Job
This position will perform and deliver on routine and progressively more non-routine assignments for incoming payments independently in accordance with established procedures/guidelines. They will conduct data entry processing to prepare, record, verify, analyze and report on routine and increasingly complex account transactions by line of business. In addition, they will share general accounts receivable and general ledger knowledge with their team to build the technical capabilities of their assigned area.

• Builds and maintains effective relationships with applicable internal/ external stakeholders to continuously improve partnership and implement continuous improvement solutions.
• Collaborates with peers and/or management to identify opportunities to streamline and/or incorporate new processes.
• Communicates timely to management on recognized trends, process improvements, issues and/or concerns.
• Identifies, researches, and resolves increasingly complex transactions, discrepancies or out of balance situations by analyzing documentation and applying knowledge for their assigned area (s) of responsibility.
• Maintains accounting ledgers by verifying, posting and correcting assigned account transactions.
• Makes routine and progressively more non-routine decisions independently, in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
• Meets or exceeds departmental quality and efficiency standards.
• Performs a diverse range of tasks/transactions utilizing common systems and applications by directly applying expanded knowledge obtained from the role in increasingly more complex situations.
• Provides responses to less routine questions to team members without supervision.
• Reviews information for accuracy and completeness and gathers pertinent information from others as needed.
• Shares a diverse range of knowledge and information and/or enables less experienced team members to perform their assignments.
• Supports and promotes change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives within assigned area(s) of responsibility.
• Works independently and as a team to review and process routine and progressively more non-routine payments, in accordance with established procedures and guidelines in a timely manner and meets deadlines appropriately.
• Works overtime as needed.
What we're looking for
• 2 - 3+ Years Accounts Receivables and/or general accounting experience that directly aligns with the responsibilities for this position (in lieu of Associate's degree or above) (Required)
• 1 - 2+ Years For candidates with an Associate's Degree or above, and 1+ years of Accounts Receivables and/or general accounting experience that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position (Required)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, OneNote)
• Demonstrates strong data entry skills and attention to details
