Patient Scheduler (Radiology)

Description

• The Scheduling Rep oversees patient scheduling for appointments and outpatient testing, procedures, and exams.
• This position has a solid understanding of insurance eligibility, performs updates and corrections for insurance information, and evaluates the medical necessity of procedures for Medicare patients.
• This position works closely with insurance verifiers to authorize scheduled patient services and keeps up to date documentation on patient accounts and eligibility.
• The ability to Compassionately engage in conversation with patients on their responsibilities for Copayment, Prepayment and Outstanding Balances.
