Job Title: Construction Laborer
Job Description
Technicians will be responsible for production involving the creation of underground concrete duct bank boxes. Technicians may be assigned to various roles throughout the process depending on their assignment.
Responsibilities
- Set up and tie in rebar, preparing it for the next station.
- Assist in creating forms by cutting and measuring materials.
- Clean and oil forms before and after each assembly.
- Assist with pouring concrete, ensuring proper positioning for pours, handling vibrating tools to settle concrete flush in the forms, and finishing the concrete once the box is complete and starts to cure.
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the facility by performing broom work, picking up trash, and moving materials to different staging lanes.
Essential Skills
- Experience in construction and general labor.
- Ability to bend, twist, stoop, and kneel.
- Capability to lift 50lbs or more to at or near head level.
- Ability to carry materials such as tools, boxes, and wood boards.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Concrete experience in residential or commercial settings.
- OSHA 10 or any relevant certifications is a plus.

Work Environment
Work takes place both indoors and outdoors on an open construction site. Be prepared to deal with mud, wetness, and cold conditions. Summers can be hot, requiring adaptability to various weather conditions.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Indianapolis, IN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $34.00/hr.
