Actalent is hiring for a QC/QA Lab Technician for a major Food and Beverage Company focusing on Coffee and Tea with leading Pay & Benefits and massive growth opportunities!

Job Description:

Daily Tasks:

• Lab Calibrations for pH meter, Agtron, and Moisture Meter
• Sample all products produced
• Read micro plates and enter data
• Submit production paperwork for management review
• Microplate all samples for the day
• Complete GMP plant walkthrough
• Clean lab area including counters, lab equipment, sample fridges, and incubators
• Organize retain cooler/verify organization
• Complete QA swab form
• Complete QA Pre-op form

Weekly Tasks:

• Cupping new lots
• Finish all raw incoming work
• Verify refractometers
• Verify pipettes

Monthly Tasks:

• Environmental swabs
• Water testing
• Complete lab/cooler inventory data collection
• Sort through retains, dispose of old ones
• Calibrate pipettes
• Calibrate scales
• Verify thermometers

Skills & Qualifications:

Must Haves:

• B.S. in Life Science (Biology, Chemistry, etc) OR
  • 2+ years experience working within a GMP setting
  • 1+ years experience working within a Quality Department
  • GED or High School Diploma
• Strong communication skills, as this candidate will be working directly with all departments
• Ability to troubleshoot
• Computer skills- experience working with Excel

Pay & Shift:

• $20-21/hr
• Mon-Fri
• Increase in Pay after a few months
