Description:

A leading supplier of frozen bakery products to the food service and in-store bakery industries. Their state-of-the-art facility utilizes advanced technology and has the ability to supply a wide array of frozen bakery products, including bread dough, cookie dough and baked, ready-to-eat flatbread. Some of the largest customers are Subway, Taco Bell, Pizza Hut, Nestle Toll House, Arbys, Whole Foods, Panera, etc.

As a QA Tech, this candidate will be responsible for the following:

1. Must be able to perform essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.

2. Keep work area and equipment neat and clean and properly stored and area in 5S condition.

3. Responsible for light maintenance and calibration of lab equipment.

4. Maintain accurate documentation as needed and required.

5. Collect and retain raw material samples; test samples as required

6. Collect and retain product samples

7. Perform product testing and performance analysis

8. Analyze lab data and notify management of trends or out of spec data.

9. Shall be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.

10. Analyze and input data proficiently on a daily basis.

11. Create and distribute lab data analysis daily and weekly as assigned.

12. Responsible for observing and auditing Specialty Bakery Food Safety and Food Quality policies and procedures on the production floor.

13. Ship various product samples as required.

14. Complete other duties as assigned.

15. Maintains regular and predictable attendance, as well as working overtime as needed.

16. Responsible for clear communication with associates and management regarding product performance as well as food safety and quality concerns.

Shift:

6pm-6am

2-2-3 schedule

Pay:

$20/hour

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Must Haves:

1. Bachelor Degree in Life Science or Associates Degree in Life Science or 1+ years experience working within a quality role (preferably food/bev)

2. Basic math and computer skills

3. Desire to work at CraftMark Bakery long-term

1) Food Science Degree
