This candidate will function as a Customer Service Representative and take inbound calls from members and providers regarding:

- welcome calls

- portal inquiries

- explanation of benefits

- provider options

- insurance cards

Candidates will also handle claims and grievances & appeals.

This job is not about how many calls a candidate can take but more about helping the customers calling in. They want to create an experience the customer did not expect.

Will be cross-trained in commercial, utilization management,


HMO's, E/M Coding, E&M Coding, 99217, ICD9, ICD10, Medicare, Medicare Advantage, healthcare, medicaid, excel, Customer Service, CPT Cod*, outlook, member services, CSR, call center

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Must Haves:

- Customer service oriented

- Strong job history (no more than 3 jobs in 5 years)

- Adaptable & flexible

- Ability to navigate multiple systems

-Must have two professional references
