HYBRID work schedule - split of office work / remote work

Daily Duties:

  • The Medicare system has checks and balances:
    • Services provided to/for the population on Medicare must be reported to the federal government by medical providers/hospitals/clinics etc. so that the government can ensure that, that population is receiving the medical care and appointments they need. In order to ensure this, they require that detailed reporting for those services is submitted annually by the medical providers.
  • As mentioned above, the federal government requires doctors to have certain reporting standards for the services they are providing to the population on Medicare insurance. If the doctors/hospitals/clinics don't report the correct information every year, then they are not receiving their Medicare payments for those patients (essentially correct reporting affects their bottom line and income!).

In this position, call center representatives will be working in a call center environment and will be receiving inbound calls from doctors, administrators and other medical professionals regarding the federal Medicare reporting and submission. Questions can be as simple as asking for help to reset a password to having a rep walk them through how to submit their Medicare reporting utilizing the system/portal.
