A/R Specialist

Aston Carter is working with one of our clients in the Overland Park, Kansas area that is looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their team. If you are looking to join a stable industry, Please apply!

This Company is targeting to pay $22-$25/hr

Description:

•Collection calls and/or correspondence in a fast paced goal oriented collections department. B2B

•Perform weekly follow up on accounts 60, 90, and 120 days overdue.

•Provide customer service regarding collection issues

•Apply payments sent over from divisions

•Send out statements

•Deposit, post, and code checks received in the mail

•Download batches from lockbox daily

•Post lock-box payments and ACHs

•Open and maintain customer accounts as directed

•Make copies of TK SVC checks and email these to the proper division for application to SVC accounts Process SVC payments

•Conduct credit checks

•Answer phones, respond to emails and faxes

•Process Warranty Credit Memos

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

•Minimum of 2 years of Accounts Receivables and Collections experience

•Strong knowledge of accounts receivable and general ledger principles

•Prior AS400 experience, preferred

•Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information

•Ability to maintain confidentiality concerning financial and employee information

•Have a strong aptitude for prioritizing and managing multiple responsibilities

•Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (vlookup and pivot)
