Description:

This position is responsible for programming the companies CMM using PC DMIS 2021 Software and other quality related tasks as assigned by the Quality Manager. This position will also provide layout support to plant to meet production and customer needs. They will also assist Quality, Production, Engineering, etc. with problem investigations and resolutions as needed.

This position will also support the various plant floor quality operational needs as part of the overall department teamwork initiative.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Strong understanding of GD&T

At least 3+ years in CMM Programmer role

Write programs to be efficient & minimize quality issues

Run validation & verification routines for tools, fixtures, gauges, etc.

Write CMM programs to support all inspection activities (as needed)

Operator and troubleshoot all QC inspection equipment

Train & develop less experienced quality technicians as designated by QA Manager to further grow staff knowledge/cross training.

Prepare detailed inspection documentation such as written descriptions of inspection results including deviations from engineering specifications.

Maintain all quality CMM records for access and retention
