Field Service Engineer

Day to Day:
-Travel to customers sites 3 weeks per month to supervise machinery installs and debug equipment
-Perform software (PLC) and machinery debugging and start up on site.
-Train customers on machinery operation and maintenance
-Coordinate with customers and the home office as needed
-When not traveling provide customer support from Louisville
-Great communication and presentation skills needed, for great customer service and experience

Top Skills Details:
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- 2 year degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or related field
- 1-5 years experience with machinery troubleshooting and debugging, including control panels and electrical circuitry
- 3-5 years experience with programming industrial hardware and software:
Allen Bradley RS Logix 500/5000 PLC's, Siemens S7 would be a great value add for their European customers
Panel View/RS View HMI
VFD's and Servos
Ability to interpret electrical, mechanical and pneumatic schematics
Experience with stretch wrapping equipment highly preferred (Wolftec, Robopak, Alliant, Orion, Veritiv, Unisource etc)
