Senior Project Manager

TEKsystems us seeking a qualified applicant for a expert level Project Manager opportunity. A national agency partnering with government entities requests the ideal candidate to improve their business efficiency for various funding projects. Individual must be PMP (PMI) certified and have at least 6 years of dedicated experience. Candidates are preferred to have OSP/Telecom experience relative to site mapping procedures. He/she should be detail oriented, results-driven, and the ability to pivot among a myriad of projects/tasks toward completion. This is a HYBRID ROLE in Bowling Green, KY, qualified candidates MUST be local or prepared for relocation. This is a contract position for W2 and not available for C2C or 1099.

Job Description

The Project Manager will provide administrative project oversight for the end customer's projects. This includes a variety of tasks that involve administering project plans, managing workflow and timelines, verifying work quality, gathering documentation in support of projects, working directly with clients, scheduling high-level meetings with external stakeholders, preparing reports, and providing support for project leads as necessary. The Project Manager will take direction on the content of their work from the Project Lead to which they are assigned; but, will follow business process doctrine utilizing PMI standards. The Project Manager will work with the Executive VP, Development and Planning, to plan and manage project work streams for various projects as assigned. They will also be responsible for planning and finalizing proposals and other documents as needed. The Project Manager should be proactive in their approach to project management, both internally and externally.
