International Shipment Coordinator
Job Description:
*Coordinates all international shipments following EXIM and ITAR regulations.
*Provides all ITAR shipping related documentation.
*Acts as the main point of contact between all parties involved in the shipping process, including manufacturers, carriers, customs officials, and customers.
*Trans the progress of shipments and provides updates on shipment status, resolve any issues that may arise, and negotiate contracts and rates with carriers.
*Facilitates the customs clearance process by ensuring that all necessary duties, taxes, and tariffs are accurately calculated and paid.
*Coordinates with corporate export import compliance team for licensing and product classifications.
Education/Experience:
*2 +BA/BS or 1+MA/MS) or (4 +AA) or (6+No Degree)
Certifications:
None
Required Experience:
*Experience coordinating all international shipments in accordance with EXIM and ITAR regulations. Experience providing all ITAR shipping-related documentation.
*Experience acting as the main point of contact between all parties involved in the shipping process, including manufacturers, carriers, customs officials, and customers.
*Experience tracking the progress of shipments and providing updates on shipment status, resolving any issues that may arise, and negotiating contracts and rates with carriers
*Experience facilitating the customs clearance process by ensuring that all necessary duties, taxes, and tariffs are accurately calculated and paid.
*Experience coordinating with the corporate export-import compliance team for licensing and product classifications.
