Equipment Operator - White Oak Landfill (Monroe, LA)
Pay: $21-$22 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule:
Waste Connections is hiring a dependable Equipment Operator to support daily operations at the White Oak Landfill in Monroe, LA. This role is hands-on, fast-paced, and essential to keeping our landfill running safely and efficiently.

What You'll Do
Pay: $21-$22 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday: 6:45 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
- Occasional Saturdays: 7:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

What You'll Do
- Operate heavy equipment including trackhoes, dozers, compactors, off-road dump trucks, and tractors
- Serve as a spotter to ensure safe movement of vehicles and personnel
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Pull, spread, and compact trash
- Haul and place dirt as needed
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions
- 3+ years of experience operating dozers and trackhoes
- Strong commitment to safety and operational excellence
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work in all weather
- Team-oriented with a positive, professional attitude
